Registration Policies

The Heart & Stroke Foundation portal sadly does not allow you to complete registration with any school, you would have to view the website for the school and register through their respective registration portal. 

  • Doctor's Association, Nurses Association, and Alberta Health Services will NOT accept Red Cross or St. John's HCP certificates on a 3 year term, please refer to our "Heart & Stroke Foundation" BLS course to save time and money.

  • Alberta Health Services has requests that all Health Care Professionals within Alberta should have Basic Life Support Provider Level C CPR+AED. To meet their standards please refer to our Heart & Stroke Foundation's Basic Life Support Provider CPR course.

Start times -

  • Doors open 30 minutes prior to the beginning of class

  • Doors will be locked at the course start time selected, please refer to your course page to see the times listed, late entry will not be permitted. Please allow yourself extra traveling time.

Cancellation
&
Reschedule

  • Cancellations are subject to a $5.00 administrative fee. You can cancel your course by emailing reception@savinggracemedical.com.

  • Students who cancel their enrollment less than 7 days prior to the start date will be charged 50% of their course fee.

  • Students who cancel their enrollment less than 3 days prior to the start date will be charged 100% of the course fee.

  • Same day registration and cancellation are subject to a $5.00 administration fee. 

  • Administration fee will be billed to the credit card provided

  • All course funds will be forfeit if you fail to show up for your course and the credit card provided will be billed accordingly. This includes late admission.

  • It is the attendee's responsibility to verify they have registered for the correct training program for their needs and level of expertise. 

  • Rescheduling is permitted one time without penalty 7 days prior to the start of your public training course.

  • Students who reschedule less than 5 days prior to the start date will be charged an additional $25.00 course fee.

  • Students who reschedule less than 3 days prior to the start date will be charged an additional 50% of the course fee.

  • Students who reschedule less than 48 hours prior to the start date will be charged 100% of the course fee.

  • Students who have already rescheduled their course are ineligible for a refund of course fees.

  • Students who arrive late to their course will be refused entry and are subject to forfeit 100% of the course funds. Completion of your course is subject to 100% attendance policy and it is up to the student to make sure they arrive on time.

  • Students must reschedule their program within 14 business days, if the student has extenuating circumstances course fee's carry forward for a maximum of 90 days. No refunds are permitted for extended reschedules.

Health Waiver

A health waiver will be sent to the student 24 hours prior to their program, for late  scheduling, the waiver will be sent out first thing in the morning prior to the course.

  • You must submit via email the health questionnaire sent to you in the 24 hours before your course time to be allowed entry to the classroom

  • Please check your junk/spam folder in case it was redirected

  • Only one submission of the waiver is accepted so please ensure that all of your answers are correct

  • If you (or anyone you have close contact with) has a sore throat, fever, runny nose, or other symptoms of illness then you must reschedule your course a minimum of 14 days later.

  • If you or a close contact such as a cohort or family member is awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test you must reschedule your course a minimum of 14 days later.

Conduct

  • Please wear comfortable clothes as the class can be quite intensive with CPR skills.

  • DO NOT wear sandals or open toe shoes to class, only close toed shoes are allowed in the classroom

  • During rain or snow please bring a pair of indoor shoes to your course to not track mud/dirt/snow through the school

  • Homemade masks are not permitted in the classroom. A procedural disposable mask will be provided to all students at their discretion.

  • No food is allowed in the classroom and only drinks with a closed lid will be permitted

  • Gloves will also be provided for certain sections of the course and must be removed and disposed of when the section is completed.

  • Your instructor will remain masked throughout the course for the health and safety of all students.

  • By registering for this course I hereby agree to all terms, conditions, waivers, and protocols of Saving Grace Medical Academy

  • We have a ZERO tolerance policy for abuse or disrespect towards staff or other students. Any student disrupting the learning of others with talking, cell phone use, and disrespectful language will be asked to leave the course immediately and all course funds will be forfeit.
