Heart & Stroke Foundation:
Important Certification Requirement for Expired BLS Certificates
By purchasing the Basic Life Support (BLS) Online Challenge for Expired Certificates, you acknowledge that the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada requires a valid, unexpired BLS certificate for standard renewals.
If your BLS certificate has expired, you must complete this official online challenge to regain eligibility for in-class renewal. This requirement is set by the Heart & Stroke Foundation and applies nationwide.
A unique, one-time-use PIN is issued through the Heart & Stroke portal for one-time access. A minimum score of 80% is required to pass. This is a digital-only, non-refundable product, and all certification eligibility requirements are governed solely by the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
