Elevate your emergency response skills and take them to the next level with our Blended Online Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course. Designed for healthcare professionals and first responders, this comprehensive training program equips participants with the advanced knowledge and techniques needed to effectively manage cardiac emergencies and save lives. With Blended-Online training, this breaks the program into two pieces, an online component that the student completes prior to the program, and an in school skill evaluation to ensure the quality of training matches occupational requirements. 

 

ACLS is a requirement for all Front Line Health Care Professionals.

 

Blended ACLS is Broken into two pieces:
1) Comprehensive ACLS Online training component (8 hours)
2) In class ACLS skill review (8 hours)

 

The online component must be completed prior to entry of the in class ACLS skill review. 

 

In our Blended Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course, participants will enhance their skills and dive deep into the critical concepts of cardiovascular care. Master your advanced cardiac life support algorithms, and hone your ability to make rapid, informed decisions in high-pressure situations. Led by experienced instructors who are experts in emergency medicine, our course adheres to the latest guidelines established by the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.

 

Here's what you can expect from our Heart & Stroke Blended ACLS course:

 

Advanced Cardiac Concepts: Participants will expand their understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as the pathophysiology of common cardiovascular emergencies such as cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndromes, and stroke. Through interactive lectures, mega code  rehearsals and case-based discussions, participants will gain insights into the latest evidence-based practices for managing complex cardiac emergency conditions.

Accredited through the Heart & Stroke Foundation, recognized by Alberta Health Services "AHS", Covenant Health, University of Alberta, Grant McEwan and more.

    Please bring the following:

    • Comfortable clothing
    • Water
    • Lunch (if you are taking a full-day ACLS course. There are full amenities in the area if you need to go out).
  • Cancellation Policy
    Cancellations are subject to a $5.00 administrative fee prior to the start of your scheduled public training course. 

    You can cancel your course by emailing reception@savinggracemedical.com subject to cancellation policy. 

    • Students who cancel their enrollment less than 7 days prior to the start date will be charged 50% of their course fee.
    • Students who cancel their enrollment less than 3 days prior to the start date will be charged 100% of the course fee.

    Administration fee will be billed to the credit card provided

    All course funds will be forfeit if you fail to show up for your course and the credit card provided will be billed accordingly.

    • It is the attendee's responsibility to verify they have registered for the correct training program for their needs and level of expertise. 

    Rescheduling:

    Rescheduling is permitted one time without penalty 7 days or more to the start of your public training course without fee's, refunds are not permitted after rescheduling. 

    • Students who reschedule less than 5 days prior to the start date will be charged an additional $25.00 course fee.
    • Students who reschedule less than 3 days prior to the start date will be charged an additional 50% of the course fee.
    • Students who reschedule less than 48 hours prior to the start date will be charged 100% of the course fee.
    • Students who have already rescheduled their course are ineligible for a refund of course fees.

    Rescheduling must be completed in a timely fashion, with extenuating circumstances an extension of course registration may be requested. Policies according to AHS will allow extension to complete in class training to (90 days) of original course date. Circumstances must be provided and match with emergency policies. 

    Late Entry:

    Students who arrive late to their course will be refused entry and are subject to forfeit 100% of the course funds. It is the students responsibility to ensure that they are at the program on time. Doors to the school will open 30 minutes prior to the program for admittance.

    Certificates:

    Completion of your course is subject to 100% attendance policy and it is up to the student to make sure they arrive on time.

    Certificates are issued after the successful completion of the program and will be visable in your Heart & Stroke Foundation portal within 24-48 Hours of the program. 

    Unforeseen circumstances may be explained to the instructor at time of program "When in doubt, reach out", we reward honesty.
